Nominations for the elected veterinary nurse on the Veterinary Practice Board

The Veterinary Practice Act 2021 (Act) commenced on 18 June 2022. Under the Act, the Veterinary Practice Board has been expanded from five to eight members, which consist of an elected veterinary nurse, a consumer representative, five veterinarians and a legal practitioner.

All registered veterinary nurses are invited to nominate for the veterinary nurse position. Nomination forms are available here. Please include a biography in Word of no more than 300 words. A  photograph is optional. Nominations close at noon on Thursday 14 July 2022.
